Tuning forks (weighted and unweighted) are intended for wellness, relaxation, and meditation. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care.

General Guidelines for Use

Use gently and mindfully at all times
Use light application and observe individual response
Do not use on broken skin or open wounds
Discontinue use if discomfort occurs
Always respect personal sensitivity to sound or vibration

Contraindications:

The following conditions are contraindications for using sound healing ON the body.

Do not use sound healing instruments directly on the body in the following circumstances:

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg or known thrombi
Open wounds or sutured wounds until fully healed and closed
Active cancer or tumours
Directly on or near metallic implants (including screws or artificial joints)
Implanted medical devices (e.g. pacemakers, neurostimulators): avoid direct placement over devices
Around the neck, carotid artery, or larynx in cases of carotid atherosclerosis
Inflamed joints
Skin conditions such as inflammatory or weeping eczema
Diseased or inflamed veins
Pregnancy
Blood clotting disorders or suspected thrombosis: avoid affected areas
Severe osteoporosis or fragile bones: use light pressure only
Use caution with individuals sensitive to sound or sensory stimulation

Post-Injury Guidelines

Treatment should not commence until at least three days after injury, including cases such as whiplash.

Other Medical Conditions

Individuals with diagnosed medical conditions not listed above should consult their doctor before receiving sound healing ON the body.
